The Hotel Admiral is located in the ‘Glockenbachviertel’ district in the centre of Munich – in the immediate vicinity of the European Patent Office, Deutsches Museum, Isartor and the city centre. It impresses with its exclusive location: only a 2-minute walk from the Isar river, embedded in the pulsating city life: urban liveliness and relaxing nature unite in a harmonious way.
Munich’s historic city centre is just a few minutes’ walk from the Glockenbach district. The Hotel Admiral is within walking distance of the Isartor public transport hub, the Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz, the Residenz, the Bavarian State Opera and many other sights. The most important tourist attractions and the centre of Munich’s cultural offerings are therefore within walking distance. Located in the heart of Munich, the Hotel Admiral is ideal for a city break or a business trip to Munich.
The unique flair of the city centre hotel is complemented by its exclusive location in the Glockenbach district – Munich’s trendy neighbourhood. Residents appreciate the central location and excellent transport links as well as the proximity to the banks of the Isar river, which are a popular meeting place in summer. With its many cafés, restaurants, cinemas, galleries and original shops, the Gärtnerplatz and Glockenbach district has a special ambience: urban, cosmopolitan, lively, creative and relaxed. Artists and creatives, but also young families and long-established residents live in this historically evolved neighbourhood. The centre of the Glockenbach district is Gärtnerplatz, which is surrounded by neoclassical buildings, including the Gärtnerplatz Theatre, which is famous for its operetta performances. With its Mediterranean flair, Gärtnerplatz is one of Munich’s favourite meeting places on warm summer evenings.
